I went to the Bay Ridge Pie Social at The Art Room yesterday. In related news, I can be found at the gym everyday this week except Thanksgiving – that day, expect to see me on my bicycle for an hour or two.
Visitors got five tasting tickets with admission – I had enough appetite for three. I can personally attest to the deliciousness of this particular exhibit, along with the shoofly and the cranberry-pear pie.
Leigh Holliday, one of the event’s organizers, serving up some deliciousness. As noted last week, the proceeds went to support the Guild For Exceptional Children.
I can turn a clever headline sometimes, but yeah – this one was lifted from a sign at the event.
Admission also got each person a couple of raffle tickets for prizes from the events sponsors – gift certificates at Cebu and the like. Good news, readers – I was the very proud winner of a chocoholics manicure and pedicure. Thanks, Green Spa, for sponsoring this event! (And a TBD female friend thanks you also!)
