The Bay Ridge Festival of the Arts begins on Thursday, April 12 – one week from today! For any and all artists who wish to participate, the receiving day is Monday, April 9. Artists should bring the work they plan to submit for the festival to the Good Shepard Lutheran Church (7420 4th Avenue) between 11am-1pm or 3pm-8pm.
The festival organizers have posted an updated schedule since we last wrote about it. I have to say, I am genuinely excited about this and can’t wait to see it. The full schedule is below – as always, you can visit the festival website (www.bayridgeartsfestival.org) or contact the organizers (chandra@BayRidgeArtsFestival.org) for more information.
There will be a spring plant sale throughout the festival to support The Guild For Exceptional Children. Now, those of you who know me best know that I can’t be trusted around plants. I promise to change. I do solemnly swear, on this 5th day of April, 2012, that I will be purchasing a plant at the Bay Ridge Festival of the Arts next weekend, to be cared for in my own home, and that it will live a long and natural life.
