Sorry, I have no idea if this is on the tour or not. It just looks like a piece of historic Bay Ridge architecture worth preserving. (Photo credit: Brian Hedden/Bay Ridge Odyssey)
A historic walking tour of Bay Ridge will be held on Saturday, October 20. The tour will be led by Victoria Hofmo, the founder of the Bay Ridge Conservancy.
The tour will focus on some of the neighborhood’s most pressing preservation priorities, including stops at Christ Church, Public School 102, “Doctor’s Row,” and the brownstone block on Senator Street.
The tour will kick off at 10am outside the east entrance of the 77th Street R-train station on 4th Avenue. For reservations, contact the Historic Districts Council at 212-614-9107.
It will conclude with an informal reception at the High School of Telecommunications Arts and Technology to continue the discussion about recent preservation efforts.
