According to paperwork filed last Friday with the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York, Wall Street Restaurant, LLC [7110 3rd Ave] – which is listed as the corporate name for Cafe Remy – has proceeded with a Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Fans of the eatery should take heart that, as opposed to a Chapter 7 liquidation, a Chapter 11 “permits reorganization under the bankruptcy laws of the United States.”
