Last Friday State Senator Marty Golden announced plans for this year’s Halloween Walk on his senate website.
According to his office, the event – which is now in its 17th year – will take place on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Owl’s Head Park [67th Street and Colonial Road]. Continue reading »
Did you know that it’s still spring? While your electric bill might say differently, summer doesn’t start until June 20.
And that’s why the annual 5th Avenue Spring Festival is this coming Sunday, June 3!
The street fair runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on a stretch starting at 69th Street, and ending at 85th Street.
The fun will include rides, games, food, shopping, live bands, a karaoke contest, a pizza eating contest, face-painting, ponies, and more.
